At Wombell's Auctioneers, we offer a full range of services for individuals, executors and solicitors dealing with all aspects pertaining to probate, market value, deceased estates, downsizing etc. These fall into the broad categories outlined here:

• Probate valuations: 
  • William Rice is has 30 years' experience of probate inventory and evaluation. He will visit the property in question, listing key items with an assessment of market value and providing a written report. 
• Appraisals: 
  • We have a number of highly experienced staff who will happily provide free informal appraisals of items you wish to sell. There is an admin charge for typed valuations. Please make clear if you require a more formal appraisal. If you wish to check if a bulky item is suitable for selling here, please email photographs with brief details and we will get back to you.
• Collections: 
  • Collections of bulky items or large quantities of goods can be arranged by phoning the office. If the relevant person to arrange this is not available, you can leave your name and number and we will get back to you. 
• House Clearances: 
  • We clear large and small properties carefully and efficiently with professional discretion and sensitivity. Contact us to arrange a visit to assess the size of the job and likely charges. 
• Auctions: 
  • We hold regular auctions approximately every three weeks on a Thursday and Friday. Every three months, a specialist silver, gold and jewellery section forms part of the general sale. 
• Packaging and postage
  • On request we will arrange postage an packing for a range of items in the sale using Royal Mail. For delivery of larger, particularly fragile and bulky lots it is the buyers responsibility to make arrangements for collection.
