A WWI Royal Navy casualty group: J.26618 Alfred Brown Boy 1, later A.B. Royal Navy, comprising 1914 - 15 Star, War Medal, Victory Medal, Memorial Plaque and and a named HMS Natal presentation fob / medal. Alfred Brown was killed during submarine attack on HMS Ettrick, 7th July 1917 and the accompanying HMS Natal 1915 presentation medal (only given to those serving on that ship) suggests that Alfred Brown may also have survived explosion on and loss of that ship during his service.
