Wombell's Auctioneers was established in 1984 to provide a services to the communities of York and the surrounding area for those who wish to sell and buy a wide range of items including art, antiques, silver, gold and jewellery, collectibles and furniture. Over the years, we have built up a solid reputation across the region for our diligence, professionalism and honesty.
We are an independent family run company determined to provide those wishing to sell items with good straightforward advice and guidance as well as friendly and reliable service. It is our mission to be the first place for you to call when you need to sell furniture or other items you no longer want or when you need help to clear a home, or prepare for a move.
We are based in a modern purpose-built saleroom, easily accessible on the outskirts of York. There is ample parking, a cafe and toilet facilities. The saleroom is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 until 5:00 for valuations and deliveries.
We offer a full range of services including professional valuation for probate, appraisals, house clearances and collections. All these services underpin our primary service: providing a trusted and efficient place to buy and sell a wide range of goods.
